Silverlight – An Out of Browser Experience Presentation

One of the most valuable features of Silverlight is its Out-of-Browser functionality. This powerful feature is detailed in a presentation that I’ve put together called: “Silverlight – An Out of Browser Experience”. This presentation can be downloaded here. The code for the project that is built during the presentation can be downloaded here (it works with Visual Studio 2008 Express – Web Edition).

If you would like to learn more about Silverlight, I recommend picking up Silverlight in Action.  The images used in this presentation are copyrighted and are pulled from my startup, DivotDog.

I attended your IndyNDA presentation and have tried running an application I'm developing out of browser. It works fine when invoking from the web but it locks up when running OOB. It locks up accessing a WCF Silverlight Web service on the EndExecute command. Are there any changes needed in the project to access web services ? I'm using entity framework with ado.net data services.
